Advent is just around the corner

I thought I’d put out a little reminder that Advent is just around the corner.  In fact, it begins this coming Sunday!

So as you’re cleaning up from Thanksgiving and putting things away, be sure to take out your Advent gear, especially your wreath & its prayer booklet.  That way, you won’t miss a beat.

Around this time last year, I wrote a couple of posts that I think are still applicable, and I thought you might find useful.  Be sure to check them out before the week is over.

I also found some other items you might like:  a terrific article on the history of the Advent wreath, a weekly prayer and daily prayers for Advent (poke around this site to get to the prayers for each week.  It’s pretty good!)

May God bless you and your family during this Thanksgiving week and as we bring our liturgical year to a close.

We praise and adore You, O Christ the King!  Anne
