Saint Nicholas

Today we celebrate the feast of St. Nicholas.  I daresay, he is familiar to us all.  Much has been written about him, so I need not elaborate.

I do, however, want to point you to a website put together by a homeschooling mother of 6 (I don’t know how she has time to do a website with all that’s on her plate, but when God calls, He provides (1 Thess 5:24)).  It is called Shower of Roses

Here you will find great ideas about celebrating feast days.  I particularaly like her St. Nicholas ideas.  I encourage you to click on this link and poke around the site. Check out the recipes and crafts she references with her writing.  I think you’ll find them useful and fun.

She also has organized her archives into a list of things her family has done to celebrate feast days throughout the year.  It is organized by month, making it really easy to share her ideas.  It is loaded with terrific ideas.

I hope you enjoy what you find and are able to incorporate it into your day.

St. Nicholas, pray for us!  Anne
