Heaven – part 2

A few weeks ago, I wrote about Heaven.  In it, I posed:  “Do you ever stop and contemplate heaven?  Wonder what it’s like?  How it will feel?  Who you’ll see?  What will matter?”

I wrote this on a Sunday, and the following Wednesday during my weekly hour of adoration, I got part of my answer.  It was in The Little Catechism of  St. John Vianney

When I go to adoration, I usually bring my Bible, and my Magnificat.   I’ll often pick up another book from home as the Spirit moves me.  This time I grabbed St. John Vianney’s catechism.

As I sat and prayed asking the Holy Spirit to guide me, I was led to page 134 in his book.  It was part 2, chapter 16, “On Paradise”.   There in front of me in black and white was the answer to my questions.  I laughed & just shook my head.  I will never get used to how the Lord shows himself to us.

I thought I’d pass along what St. John Vianney shared with me.  When I wrote part 1, I had no idea I’d have a part 2!  I hope that you enjoy it as much as I did.

Check it out!  St. John Vianney: On Paradise

Enjoy,  Anne
